MIND THE MAT 200-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM:
Integrating Science and Spirit
Whether your intention is to teach yoga or deepen your practice, Mind the Mat’s Teacher Training Program offers an empowering approach to education, teaching, and cultivating your personal practice to deepen self-understanding and gain a greater knowledge of functional movement and anatomy.
Become a compassionate and well-rounded teacher through 200+ hours of training that is steeped in science and simultaneously rooted in the ancient wisdom of yoga. Our program also encourages a strong creative focus to unlock each student’s individual potential and unique voice.
You will come away with a strong foundation in the technical, inspirational and business side of yoga and what it means to craft an experience that sets students up for success. All this combined together to create an exceptional yoga teacher and a profound journey into your personal practice.
Our Three Areas of Emphasis:

We incorporate skilled core stability and activation with Pilates principles taught by a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Includes in-depth study and practice of asana (yoga poses), pranayama (yogic breathing exercises), meditation, and teaching practicum.
2. Personal Growth
We value the unique qualities of each person, no "cookie-cutter" teachers here.
You will learn how use ancient yogic philosophy and wisdom to live authentically, with greater health and wellness.
Includes mindfulness exercises, history of yoga and its lineages, tools for transformation, and a nurturing, supportive community of peers and teachers
3. Teaching Methodology
Functional Anatomy & Biomechanics with application to yoga asana and all populations.
We know the importance of teaching with confidence.
You will learn specific tools and techniques to be a effective teacher.
